Generating and exporting documents
From a transcribed meeting, you can generate a professional document using one of the templates for your persona (see Professional personas and document templates).
How do I generate a document?
Section titled “How do I generate a document?”Open a meeting, choose a document type for your persona (or “Something else: go custom” for a free-text type), and launch generation. Generation runs asynchronously: Meetingize processes it in the background and you can track its progress, then open the finished document once ready.
Can I edit the document?
Section titled “Can I edit the document?”Yes. The document content is markdown text that you can edit directly in the app’s editor.
Diagrams in documents
Section titled “Diagrams in documents”You can include Mermaid diagrams in a document by writing a ```mermaid code block in the markdown. Meetingize renders the diagram as an image in the exported PDF or Word file.
How do I export a document?
Section titled “How do I export a document?”- PDF and Word: generated by Meetingize and downloadable from the document.
- Markdown: exported directly as plain text from the app.
- Coming soon PowerPoint (PPTX) export is not available.
Read-only export restriction
Section titled “Read-only export restriction”If a document was shared with you with read-only access, you can only export it as PDF; Word export is reserved to the document owner and to recipients with write access.
Good to know
